Century Design Inc. (CDI), the world leader of prepreg process technology, has established a sales and technical support office in Guangzhou, China to support it's customers in that region of the world. Robert Basso, founder and president, announced this important move on Monday, September 14th. CDI is the recipient of many prestigious awards for engineering excellence, product quality, and technical advancements. Among these awards are the International Eli Whitney Award for Lifetime Achievements, and the Judd Hall Award for the Advancement of the Composites Industry. This year celebrates the 52nd year of business for Century Design Inc. and the addition of a dedicated facility in China is a new milestone in our company's customer support system. This announcement coincides with the introduction of a new EXP Series of prepreg machines that can produce prepreg products ranging from low GSM aircraft qualified prepregs to heavy fiberglass prepregs for the wind-blade industry all in one machine.
